The Wyong Hospital Redevelopment is one step closer to completion with the six-storey building reaching its highest point.
The tower crane being used in the construction of the Wyong Hospital Redevelopment has been named Djibing. The Crane was named by Mannering Park Public School student Lachlan (aged 8, pictured centre with school leaders Jake and Molly), who entered our Name the Crane Competition.

New designs of the Wyong Hospital redevelopment have been unveiled giving us our first glimpse of what the new hosptial building might look like.
The new $35.5 million multistorey Gosford Hospital car park on Showground Road opened in March 2019. The new parking facilities will initially provide 679 new spaces to help ease pressure on patients, staff and visitors.
The new car park at Wyong Hospital is now open.
The ground level car park provides over 250 new spaces for patients, staff and visitors.
Over 100 additional parking spaces will be provided when the new hospital building is constructed.
Once the redevelopment is complete, there will be more than 1,200 parking spaces across the hospital campus.
Gosford Hospital’s new staff and public car park has reached its highest point, bringing the $35.5 million development a step closer to completion. A topping out ceremony was held on the roof of the new multistorey car park to mark the final stage of construction.
From 8am on 30 June 2018 Holden Street will become a no-through road. The middle section of Holden Street will be permanently closed to all vehicles with U-turn bays to be constructed at both ends.

The 11-storey building is now complete and staff are getting ready to open to the public in mid-2018.
